Place the beans into a sizeable pot. Pour water to cover the beans and start cooking on medium heat.
Cook till the beans are tender, adding more water from time to time, if necessary. Always keep the water at the same level as beans while cooking.
When the beans are soft, add the blended mix from step 1, diced onions, and stock cubes.
Add oil, salt to taste, and continue to cook –overall the beans should have been cooked for around 50-70 mins based on your desired softness.
Serve with Ofe mmanu (as per recipe).
